The average lawn requires 25mm – 35mm of water per week to be applied by either rainfall or by your watering of the lawn. Water should be applied evenly and slowly to allow penetration without run-off. When watering your lawn it is best to do it first thing in the morning before the temperatures rise. If this time is not available then water during early evening would be your next opportunity. Try not to water during the heat of the day or the cool of the night.

Trees and shrubs develop better when they are getting nutrients and pruning that they need. Pruning allows trees to grow more evenly, without dangerous low branches or crossing branches that may cause damage to the overall health of the tree. Shrubs should be pruned on a regular basis to keep them from overgrowing and to allow more sunlight to reach the inner part of the plant.
